Check-In Guide
Welcome to Woodchip! To make your stay as enjoyable and safe as possible please be considerate of others and follow these rules. We seek to provide a clean, safe and fun environment for families to camp. If you need anything, or have questions or problems, please contact the office.
VISITORS
- Visitors are to leave by 10:30 p.m. Quiet time is 10 p.m.
- MUST REGISTER at the office. EVERYBODY on the grounds must be registered.
- No charge during the week, limit 2-4 per site. 5 or more will incur a visitor charge.
- There is a $2 charge per person on weekends and Holidays.
- There is always a $2 per night visitor charge to spend the night
- Park on your site (limit 2 vehicles) or in the parking lot only!
- You can pre-register your visitors - you are responsible for telling them the rules (parking, speed limit, etc.)
SPEED LIMIT - 5 MPH. Drive slowly and watch for children!
STOP SIGNS - Stop signs in front of the office.
ZERO TOLERANCE for alcohol related problems. If asked to leave no refunds are gived. Use of Koozies is required, and usage on site only.
EMPTY SITES - You are not entitled to use empty sites. Keep your fire pit, chairs, cars, etc. on your site. Do not park on empty sites.
BIKES - Do not allow your children to ride their bikes near the entrance of the campground. No biking after dark or off the roads. Kent Bike Trails nearby.
PETS - Must be kept on a leash at all times. You are responsible to clean up after your pet and to keep them quiet. A pet walk is found on the north end of the campground. You must clean up in the pet walk area. No dogs in any buildings or on the playground. Dogs cannot be left unattended at the campground.
CARPETS - Must be limited to 2’ X 3’ unless you are covering dirt. We try our best to maintain grassy sites, and carpets kill the grass.
LAUNDRY Room - located in the southeast corner of the restroom building. Change available at the office.
PICNIC TABLES - do not take tables from other sites.
TRASH BINS - Are located north of the dump station. Break down all boxes. Only normal trash is to be placed in bins. Using bins for disposal of other items will subject you to a charge.
POOL
- ALL VISITORS (anyone you invite) must register at office and pay BEFORE entering pool area
- No running in pool area, no hanging on rope, no diving, no footwear, no food or drinks (water allowed).
- No “warming up” in hot showers and then returning to pool!
- No children under age of 13 without a parent or teenager in charge.
- Do not adjust an umbrella unless you are prepared to pay for it if broken!
